Welcome to the Graduate Program
In this new PhD-Program (DFG Graduiertenkolleg GRK1572) innovative technical systems will be generated based on biological models (Biomimetics) for structure- and sensor-based functions.
Specialized research groups in Biology and Technology at the University of Bonn, the RWTH Aachen, the Forschungszentrum Jülich and partners from industry will develop models from biology to address specific technological challenges.
PhD students will benefit from an intense interdisciplinary education and the possibility to specialize in one of the 11 projects offered.
